2000 Fusion Concept
The Fusion concept is based on an ambitious philosophy. The brief to the Nissan designers was to develop
an innovative style which adds strong emotional involvement to the traditional technical excellence of
Nissan’s products; and to integrate western taste and Japanese roots, interpreted in a modern and even
futuristic way.
2000 X-Trail Concept
X-TRAIL is a showcase for Nissan’s advanced technology, debuting a class-leading 4x4 system, safety
features including ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) with traction control and a new 2.0-litre petrol
engine in a compact body designed for exceptional on-road refinement. The Nissan X-TRAIL concept introduces
a new 4x4 system employing drive-by-wire technology to provide outstanding driver control in slippery
conditions. X-TRAIL’s system instantly reacts to the driver accelerating by anticipating the possibility
of loss of traction ensuring all four wheels provide grip as soon as it is needed.
2001 Alpha-T Concept
The Alpha-T Concept’s exterior features a massive front grille, bumper and headlights, scooped bonnet, an
aggressive 4-door body with butterfly open doors for easy access, a sharply sloped A-pillar, unique glass
panel roof treatment with personalized opening sections, retractable rear window and side step rails, a
deep bed with low-hinged electronic tailgate, large 22.5-inch alloy wheels and 265/60R22.5 off-road style
tires. Inside the aT Concept’s cab is a combination of extraordinary spaciousness and human touches.
2001 Chappo Concept
2001 Crossbow Concept
The Crossbow concept vehicle continues the outstanding tradition of the Safari/Patrol.
Inheriting the superior durability and reliability of Nissan vehicles, the Crossbow incorporates superb
drivability facilitating use in all sorts of environments, including long-distance off-road drives and
harsh desert driving. It also features an advanced design at the leading edge of its times. The exterior
design blends curved roof lines with the straight body lines that have traditionally characterized the
Safari/Patrol to create a massive presence along with a blend of strength and flexibility. The key theme
of the interior is luxury. While the instrument panel is highly functional, the interior is characterized
by increased occupant comfort, including the use of seats with a built-in suspension and leg support.
Other notable features include a large, T-shaped screen and a sophisticated navigation system that is
ideal for off-road driving.
2001 FX45 Concept
The FX45 Concept, a new type of Infiniti concept created to take on the rapidly expanding "Crossover
Luxury" SUV market. The FX45 Concept vehicle features V8 power, all-wheel drive, exceptional performance
and distinct interior and exterior appointments. The FX45 Concept made its debut at the 2001 North
American International Auto Show in Detroit.
2001 G35 Coupe Pre-production
Designed from the ground up on the racing-inspired FM (Front Mid-ship) platform, the all-new 2003 Infiniti
G35 Sport Coupe offers all of the advanced technology, leading-edge design and luxury amenities of the
recently introduced Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan but in a stylish, two-door 2+2 body. The G35 Sport Coupe
features a long list of standard performance features, including a 275-plus horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6
mated to a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or 5-speed electronically controlled automatic with
manual shift mode. Inside, the G35 Sport Coupe offers the expected levels of Infiniti premium available
amenities, ranging from ultra soft leather seating surfaces and BoseR premium audio system to a DVD-type
Infiniti Navigation System and much more.

2001 GT-R Concept
With its surprise debut at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan is provided a preview of what could become
the first truly international version of the GT-R in the guise of the new GT-R Concept. Successive
generations of the GT-R have incorporated superior levels of technology and performance. Its heritage of
unrivaled power, providing outstanding acceleration and top speed, has been matched only by its superior
handling and braking – resulting in ever-greater definitions of “quickness.” From this genome mapping,
the GT-R Concept has emerged as the once and future successor to the throne, its intentions clearly stated
by its wide, low, aggressive stance, massive grille opening, muscular shoulders and shortened rear deck.
Inside, the GT-R Concept presents a unique four-place performance theater environment, with deep seating,
full-length center console with integrated structural cage and a driver’s command center.
2001 Ideo Concept
ideo is a medium for connecting the closed passenger compartment to the outside world The objective for the
ideo is to enable occupants to enjoy communicating with places of interest around town by giving them efficient
access to the wide variety of information disseminated in the urban environment. Driving in ideo functions as a
communications medium for browsing the vast sea of information actually available around town, in a manner similar
to surfing the virtual world of the Internet.
2001 Kino Concept
A six-seat compact minivan designed for young families and providing a host of "living-room comforts". The Kino
is an ideal vehicle for young families with children. Executed in a refined design and incorporating a wealth
of new ideas, the Kino has generous interior space in which six independent seats are arranged in three rows
within its compact size. The vehicle can accommodate a wide variety uses, thanks to its highly functional
appointments and versatile seating configurations. It also features an asymmetrical door layout on the right
and left sides, with three doors on the driver's side and two doors on the passenger's side. This door
arrangement works in tandem with the low floor height to enhance entry and exit ease markedly.
2001 MM Concept
Concentrating an array of convenience features in superior packaging, the mm is A stylish, compact car that fits
everyday life perfectly. With the mm, Nissan proposes a new standard for compact cars. Though its compact body
measures just 3,695 mm in overall length, the mm seats four adults comfortably, providing the interior comfort
of a larger car along with an abundance of well-conceived storage places. Its highly refined exterior design
combines chic stylishness with superb driving ease. Powering the mm is a newly developed engine that delivers
outstanding fuel economy and environmental friendliness. The mm is designed to be a next-generation compact
car friendly to both people and the environment', featuring appointments that transcend its class and providing
top-level safety.
2001 MM-e Concept
2001 Moco Concept
The Moco has generous interior spaciousness for a mini-vehicle. Fitted with sliding rear seats, it is roomy
enough that a child riding in a child seat can kick his or her legs about without reaching the front seatbacks.
The ignition key has a handsome plastic case to house the remote control entry system.
2001 Murano Concept
Murano is named after Murano glass, a famous variety of Venetian glass. The elegantly sculpted glasswork
from the islands of Murano near Venice is regarded as a leader in both cutting-edge design and glassmaking
technologies. Among its other notable qualities, the glasswork is distinguished by its appealing beauty and
its handcrafted warmth. Nissan Murano strongly reflects the spirit of Murano glass in such aspects as its
advanced styling, thoughtfully executed interior and power performance suggestive of a sport sedan.
2001 Nails Concept
Designed and engineered with "booster" as its theme, the Nails concept suggests new, flexible ways of using
vehicles as "a tool for communicating with friends", rather than simply as "a means of transportation". The
Nails concept integrates advanced communications tools including cellular phones. This concept can be used
either as an exciting two-seater or as a light pickup in whatever creative way one might desire. The vehicle
has outrageous looks and a stunning character that will invariably catch the eye of everyone around town. It
is capable of withstanding rough use without complaining. The Nails is designed to be a good friend with whom
one feels completely at ease.
2001 PickUp Pre-Production
2001 Z Concept
The 2001 Z Concept has moved on from the 1999 version. That had stronger visual links with the original,
1970s 240Z. The 2001 Concept is Nissan's expression of a truly contemporary sports car - more forward
than backward looking, while reflecting both the fine Z heritage and Nissan's new design spirit --
characterised by a blend of emotion and technology.

The Micra C+C - which stands for Coupe + Convertible - is designed for people who like to express their
personalities and combines the pleasures of open top motoring with the security, utility, winter comfort
and emotional appeal of a hard top coupe.
2002 Quest Concept
Nissan's Next Generation Quest Concept is a bold departure from traditional minivan design, creating a
very architectural and fluid alternative to a category marked by "boxes on wheels." The Quest Concept,
created at Nissan Design America, Inc. in La Jolla, Calif., features a long, sleek cabin with a flowing
beltline gesture, a unique wraparound glass and, to emphasize its athletic performance capabilities,
20-inch wheels and tires pushed out to the corners. The Quest Concept also features a power operated
bi-fold tailgate that operates in a limited amount of space, a glass roof to illuminate the cabin and
highly efficient fiber optic headlights.
2002 Yanya Concept
Designed with goal of offering a practical, hi-tech, stylish yet affordable solution for the daily and
weekend lives of the young, sophisticated and active global city-dwellers of the future. The stylish, yet
unmistakable exterior SUV design cues, hint at Yanya's 4x4 credentials whilst contrasting with the
imaginative use of soft touch, durable interior materials inside and cutting edge entertainment and IT
systems.
